Bridal Beauty Eyes Checklist

Bridal Beauty Eyes Checklist

Like any other wedding, the bride is the center of attraction. Every bride is recommended to take utmost care on her eye makeup as her face is going to be one of the main focuses and her eyes will reflect many unsaid words in silence. Wedding day eye makeup allows no room for faults. You want to look your best in front of the camera's that will be flashing throughout the wedding ceremony and wedding reception.  Following this checklist on bridal beauty will allow your eyes to look big and sparkle with the joy that you hold within yourself for all to see.

Things You Can Do

__Hire an experienced makeup artist who has worked with many brides through many weddings.

__Initially, try out a few artists and select the one who best suits your tastes.

__Use eye drops if your eyes look tired or red.

__Sleep well prior to the special day.

__Banish dark circles beneath your eyes.

__Apply an off-white matte eye shadow so that they will not appear too shiny.

__Especially at the eye corners, blend the eye shadow well as cameras highlight the makeup lines. You don't want your make-up to be too obvious!

__Your brows should be well defined using a pencil to match your hair color.

__Apply a minimum of two layers of mascara.

__Use an eyelash curler prior to and after applying the initial coat of mascara.

__Avert makeup melting by applying smudge proof mascara.

__Acquire new mascara, but test it prior to your wedding so that you can keep your cool on your wedding day.

Things Best Avoided

__Applying too much eye make-up can make you look disastrous instead of dazzling.

__Wearing colored lenses.

__Applying under-eye colors will often cause photographs of you to resemble a deer trapped in headlights; therefore, try to avoid that.

__Experimenting with novel eye products. These can irritate the sensitive areas of skin around your eyes. It is best that you don't try these too close to your wedding day.

__Wearing dark shadows, such as dark brown, can often make you look tired and can make you look much older than you are.

__Trying to shape your brows on the wedding day morning. This can cause puffiness that you do not want to see in your wedding pictures!

__Wearing false eyelashes

Many brides are actually choosing to go with a more fresh and natural look on their wedding day. This is suggested as it gives you a much more glowing look than loads of make-up. If you do opt for make-up on your wedding day, try to apply it as minimally as possible. You will be the princess that you have always dreamed of being, even if only for a day!
