Bachelorette Party Checklist
Bachelorette Party Checklist Your best girlfriend is getting married! If your girlfiend has not opted for bridal shower or a wedding shower, then it's time for you to throw her that one last fling that she will never forget but you need to do this before she is subjected to the responsibilities and "bump and grind" of married life. The key focus of any bachelorette party should be - you guessed it -- the bride. The key to constructing a smooth and effective party is organization. If you think of it ahead of time, you will be prepared and the chances of your party going smoothly are greatly increased. Consider the following: Bachelorette Party Theme __A bit of research about your best friend, "the bride" will go a long way. __Cater to her interests. __The theme can be anything from the normal to the exotic. Take her on a safari of the five senses by recreating a far off place in the comfort of your home. Decorations, food, and music can all transport your entire bachelorette party to another continent, be it the rainforest, to an island getaway, to the rustic outback.....take her there Environment __Is the location you have in mind suitable? __Consider relocating a few miles if necessary. __Use a location that can easily be modeled to your theme. Maybe you need to hold it at a lakefront, or in a forest shanty, or even on a ship, whatever the case may be do not be inhibited by the norm. Entertainment __Chances are that you can use the actual guests as entertainment in and of themselves. __Tell everyone to dress appropriately. __Music, food, and decorations can all set the tone, making your getaway all the more realistic. __Always have a secondary plan and double check the reservations and invitations. Food __Food is an often overlooked aspect of a proper party. Spicy exotic entrees go a long way to setting the feeling. __Keep it "fresh" with appetizers and finger foods that will be easy to eat and will keep your guests mingling. Drinks __Juice blends, water, regular and diet sodas and mixers are needed __For alcohol, consider what types of things are most popular and go with those. Also, a little research on what the guests may enjoy wouldn't hurt. Of course, you always want to make sure that you have the bride to be's favorite drink available! Keep all these in mind, and chances are good that you will be contracted to do many bachelorette parties in the future. Have fun! If the bride enjoys herself, you have accomplished your mission. |
