Bachelor Party Checklist
Bachelor Party Checklist
If the groom is opting not to have a wedding shower with his bride to be, then it's time to plan a bachelor party. When planning a proper bachelor party, there is one essential point you need to keep in mind in order to be successful; no, it's not the entertainment, it's the groom. The bachelor party is the groom's last chance - before the responsibilities and vows of marriage - to have a good time with the guys. So tailor your party accordingly.
Brainstorm
__Choose a theme ahead of time
__Choose a location - This can be a house, a go-cart rink, a lease able party location - whatever is most appropriate for your aim and theme.
Appoint Positions
__Food Logistician - will organize all the food and refreshments.
__Travel Logistician - will organize accommodations for guests and travel support when necessary (We all know why!)
__Invitations Organizer - will organize and send out invitations.
__Entertainment Organizer - will organize the night's entertainment.
The Back-up Plan
Have an emergency plan in case something doesn't go as planned. This should always be considered because the groom may decide that what you and the rest of "the fellas" have arranged is not something that he wants to participate in. Weather can also play a factor in the cancellation of any planned events. A good back-up plan will ensure that the groom has a wonderful night out with his closest friends before he becomes the property of the bride.
Environment Considerations
__Is a proper environment for your chosen theme available for the bachelor party? __Is the location you have chosen available on the day that you need it?
__Have you reserved and double checked your reservations?
Last Minute Considerations
__Who can and cannot make it to the bachelor party?
__Is the amount of food you ordered sufficient?
__Are there any problems or unexpected delays forecasted for the entertainment?
Keep all of these small details in mind, and have another plan ready ahead of time. If you have everything here covered, you should be able to throw a more than satisfactory bachelor party for that friend of yours who is getting hitched!
