A wedding is an occasion that focuses solely on the bride and the groom. However, with all the subsequent wedding plans crowding your mind and all of the focus being predominantly on the bride's wedding dress, it is often quite easy to overlook the groom's formalwear. Reading through this handy checklist will ensure that your presence will be outstanding. This list is broken down into the stages of planning so that you will be more at ease as you move closer to the big day!
Three Months Before Wedding:
Arrive at a decision regarding the groom's dress and the groomsmen's attire. Go for a shopping trip to make the necessary purchases or reserve the attire through a rental store for you and your group. Should you decide on a Tux be sure to choose the right Tux to fit your body type as well as choosing a tux for the occasion.
One Month Before Wedding:
Buy wedding attire and make sure of the fittings and alterations. You will also need to schedule a final fitting. Do not compromise on these fittings. Your bride will be very disappointed if you do not fit into your tux on your wedding day!
One Week Before Wedding:
Go for a haircut. Get your nails buffed and well manicured. Purchase new boxers and amaze your bride with stylish things!
One Day Before Wedding:
Pick up your wedding attire and ensure your father, the ring bearer and your groomsmen have the appropriate attire as well.
In case you are renting, double check for correct size of all the elements such as trousers, jacket, tie, shirt, cummerbund, cuff links, shoes and socks.
If you are planning to get dressed somewhere else, pack your outfit and grooming products but ensure that it is packed well enough that there will be no wrinkles!
