Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
My name is Chris Jaeger and I am the Publisher/Producer of Smart Wedding Planning apps. I am the President/CEO of Practical Online Marketing, but most know me from my website Marketing to Brides Online (.com). Here are a handful of frequently asked questions about the Smart Wedding Planning app.
Why Should I Sign-up?
To reach more brides and grooms using a technology they are very familiar with and using today. You might not have a smart phone, but trust me, women and men ages 27 to 38 do. Plus, there is a free listing option. You have nothing to lose. There is no cost or obligation to have a basic/free listing.
Is the Smart Wedding Planning iPhone App Ready Now
The Smart Wedding Planning iPhone App will be available in the iStore August 31st. I expect to have over 2,500 wedding vendors listed in phase one and over 10,000 in phase two.
Should I Register for a Premium Listing Now or Wait?
It’s up to you. Premium listings appear first-come, first-serve. If you want to secure a top listing for your company do it now.
Why Is This Different?
There are only a very few other similar applications available right now and they are more complicated and try to sell all kinds of other products (gift registry, wedding accessories, etc.) My application is simple, fast, and has one objective – to get brides and grooms to your website or calling you on the phone.
What If My Website Isn’t Smartphone “Friendly”
You have a pretty serious problem.
Can You Help Me, Chris?
I am not taking any new clients at this time, sorry.
Is The App Free for Brides & Grooms
Yes it is.
What About for Other Phones
I am on target to launch applications for other smart phones later in the year or early in 2011. I will have applications for the Droid and Blackberry platform as quickly as I can build them. With 30 million iPhone/iPad users… and 100 million anticipated by the end of 2011, I want to target this platform first.
What Additional Features are Coming
In future roll-outs of the Smart Wedding Planning app you can expect to see listings with links to your blog as well as your website (if you have both), links to your social media touch-points, and a geographically targed “find local wedding services near you now” option. It’s likely we’ll even have an option for making online payments, as that will be a huge part of smart technology going forward (i.e. instant, fast, quick, secure payments).
